I've Become a Part of Mary Jardin Family :)

YOU ARE MY CHOSEN ONE!

From my post in FB, I’ve been chased by Shaklee, YL and MJ agents. Not sure why Ronella agent didn’t get me huhu. I’ve finally made up my mind and guess what I’ve chosen???

It’s MARY JARDIN!

Why?

I FALL IN LOVE with MJ the moment I read more details about it. Reasons:

a. Chemical-free. Since I’ve started to incorporate natural, chemical-free products in my daily life - be it food, skincare etc, I found out about MJ early of this year. This brand is also NOT like any other agent-based skincare brand in Malaysia that uses tonnes of chemicals. Since I’m also a Mary Jardin user myself now, I can feel that this is the brand that walk its talk. Why chemical-free?? I’ll share in the next posts, insyaAllah..

b. Founder. The husband and wife duo are really inspiring. Ex-medical doctors with such big dreams. Follow Maryam Aziz to get to know more about her. Also her blog (currently inactive). Dr Maryam herself is such an inspiring mother of two. Oh and you'll be guided directly by the husband (Dr Athiq) himself once you join MJ.

c. Homegrown product. Let’s support our own people’s economy! We always have that mindset that imported products are better, but if local products can perform well, why not choose it? I have faith that we are at par or can be even better than imported brands! MJ is inspired by Josie Maran, Kiehl's and L'occitane.

d. Affordable. Organic products like we can find in SEPHORA is thousand times more expensive.

e. Potential to expand. In one year MJ has >4000 agents, which is such a WOW!! I can see their good branding and their potential to expand internationally!

f. Knowledge gained. Whats even more PRICELESS in MJ is the knowledge obtained - business, psychology, NLP, marketing etc. MJ leaders are well trained in businesses and they are all positive people. They'll help each other and the group is really supportive.

So MJ has won my heart BIG TIMES.

Starting to sail this journey with “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim”..

Pengalaman Bersalin di Putra Medical Centre, Bukit Rahman Putra

Mula-mula memang no idea  on where to give birth . Bila kandungan dah 5 bulan macam tu, baru survey few medical centres . Masa tu baru nak risau kot-kot baby keluar awal ke huhu.. I BW dulu pastu baru physically pergi melawat medical centres yang berkenan di hati.  Medical centres tu mestilah memenuhi ciri-ciri di bawah: 1. Paling penting dekat dengan rumah . Malas sangat nak pergi jauh-jauh. Kot ada emergency ke, susah pulak. My workplace dengan rumah dalam setengah jam. So cari la dekat area Sungai Buloh, since I stay at Damansara Damai and my workplace kat Sungai Buloh. Lagipun senang husband kena ulang-alik ambil barang..tertinggal apa-apa ke. 2. Not too costly . Ni penting jugak. Takkanlah bersalin je nak habis belas-belas puluh-puluh ribu. Nanti lepas bersalin lagi nak guna duit lagi banyak, jadi kita simpan je la kat baby's future ye.. 3. Ada facilities yang okay. Penting ada operation theatre (OT), in case of emergency. Masa survey tu, ada tiga je yang I ras

Power Pumping

I think this is the moment where my milk supply has reduced. After researching and readings, I discovered about power pumping . Power pumping is good to stimulate back your milk production. But you need to be patient in doing it. Doing it once won't give you fast results. Consistency is the key. Following is a diagram on how to do power pumping to boost your milk supply.  If you have enough milk for your baby, you don't need to do this or else you'll be oversupply. Oversupply sounds good because you can ensure that you have enough milk for your LO, but in reality it is BAD! You are at a higher risk to develop mastitis! Please be mindful of your pumping :) Wish you goodluck in breastfeeding :) Toodles,

Of Writing (Or Typing?)

I'm not really a fan of writing. I used to have a blog years ago during my college years, well honestly... just to follow the trend of people having blogs. When I read back the posts, I sounded so childish and immature. It's funny to see when your biggest problem in the world is when you have three final exams scheduled on the same day or you just broke up with your boyfriend. Many things happened since then; I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University (how I miss you my alma mater!), back to Malaysia and got my first job (and still is now). My interest to write has lost. But now the spirit has come again. Hope this won't be hangat-hangat tahi ayam again. I find it crucial to write nowadays. There's tonnes of information on the Internet that can be used as a reference, and I wish to be someone that people use as a reference too :) Every time I have to make a purchasing decision or learn on new things like how often do I have to nurse my baby, or how
